COVID IS AFFECTING WOMEN AND GIRLS UNIQUELY
They are in the majority of frontline healthcare and caring positions, are more likely to lose their jobs, and the Shadow Pandemic of domestic abuse has risen across the world.
WE'RE NOT ALL IN THE SAME BOAT
Minority groups are being affected differently. The mortality rate of Black people has been 3 times higher in parts of UK, US, and European countries such as Norway.

LOTS OF YOU ARE FINDING YOUR WORK HAS BEEN AFFECTED
Some are losing jobs [public data], losing already lower income that keeps families going. So there's a lot of pressure on.
Childcare and domestic work has increased, and as you might imagine, it's not being shared equally.
